Our Langley based client is seeking a permanent full time Fleet Manager to join the team.

***Competitive salary ranging from $70,000-$90,000***

Location: Langley, in-office

The Fleet Manager will be responsible for managing and maintaining a fleet of up to 60 vehicles, including scheduling maintenance, coordinating repairs, managing vehicle acquisitions and disposals, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of fleet management practices, and the ability to optimize operations to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities:
* Oversee the day-to-day management of the fleet, ensuring all vehicles are in safe and operational condition.
* Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend vehicle life.
* Coordinate with service providers for repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
* Manage fuel and vehicle expenses, analyze costs, and identify opportunities for savings.
* Maintain accurate records of vehicle registration, insurance, and inspection requirements.
* Monitor vehicle utilization and ensure optimal allocation and rotation of vehicles.
* Track and report on fleet performance metrics, including fuel efficiency, maintenance costs, and downtime.
* Ensure compliance with all regulations, including safety and environmental standards.
* Manage vehicle acquisitions, disposals, and lease agreements.
* Collaborate with internal departments to understand vehicle needs and provide timely support.
* Supervise a team of drivers and coordinate their schedules to meet operational needs.
* Develop and enforce fleet policies and procedures to ensure safety and efficiency.

The Successful Candidate:
* Minimum of 3-5 years experience in fleet management
* Strong knowledge of fleet management software, vehicle maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
