Full-Time - Permanent

Electromechanic

Wages are $43-45/hr.

shifts:
4 weeks day – 7am-3:15pm
2 weeks midnight – 11pm-7:15am
2 weeks afternoon – 3pm-11:15am

Both 433A and 442A or will accept just 442A ticketed with minimum 3 years experience

require all candidates to be vaccinated with 2 doses of the covid 19 vaccine

Electromechanic

ROLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
• Conduct corrective and preventative maintenance (PMs) on flexographic printing, packaging and industrial machinery
• Read electro-mechanical blueprints/schematics
• Diagnose and resolve issues with mechanical and electrical components on production and packaging equipment
• Use tools such as multimeters, diagnostic software, and mechanical gauges to assess equipment performance
• Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production operations
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on flexographic printing presses, conveyors, packaging machinery, and other industrial systems
• Identify worn or damaged parts and replace them before failure occurs
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts usage to support operational reliability

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Ontario Industrial Millwright (433A) and Industrial Electrician (442A) trade certifications
• Clear verbal and written communication
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Mechanically inclined
• Good math skills
• Self-motivated and action-orientated
• Good attention to detail
• Prior manufacturing experience with exposure to conveyor/assembly equipment is an asset
• Good problem solving skills
• Previous mechanical or electrical skills/experience is an asset
• Flexographic industry would be a huge bonus
