Senior Estimator
Location: Burlington, ON

What You’ll Do:
Lead the development of detailed cost estimates, factoring in materials, labor, and equipment.

Analyze drawings, tender documents, and project specifications to identify potential risks and opportunities.

Develop and manage budgets across project phases, maintaining alignment with financial targets.

Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather data and confirm pricing accuracy.

Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable terms without compromising on quality.

Contribute to process improvements and the development of standardized estimating tools and procedures.

Stay informed on market trends, pricing shifts, and construction innovations.

Mentor junior estimators and support cross-functional collaboration.

What You Bring:
5–7+ years of experience in construction estimating, with recent leadership responsibilities.

Solid understanding of residential and commercial construction methods and materials.

Proficiency in estimating software (Timberline, Bluebeam, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a strategic mindset.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Familiarity with local building codes and permitting processes.

Estimating certification (e.g., AACE, ASPE) is a plus.
