Immediate need for a Customer Service/Order Entry Specialist in the Concord area! Before applying, please ensure you have the following experience; Order processing, sales support and inventory management.
Key responsibilities:
Order Processing:
- Take customer orders over the phone, email, or online.
- Accurately input order details into the company's database, including customer information, product selection, quantity, and shipping address.
- Verify product availability and pricing.
- Process payments and handle payment processing issues.
Customer Service:
- Answer customer inquiries regarding order status, product information, pricing, and delivery options.
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly.
- Provide product recommendations and assist with selecting appropriate items
Handle returns and exchanges
- Order Tracking and Follow-up:
- Monitor order status throughout the fulfillment process.
- Communicate order updates to customers, including any delays or changes.
- Follow up with customers regarding outstanding orders or missing information.
Data Management:
- Maintain accurate customer records and order details within the system.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or errors in order data.
Required skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Proficiency with computer systems and order management software
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Customer service oriented with a positive attitude
- Problem-solving abilities to address customer concerns
Sales support:
- Engage in sales activities like suggesting additional products.
Inventory management:
- Will need to check stock levels and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely order fulfillment.
