We are currently hiring for an Inventory Control/Quality Assurance associate
located in Brampton

Responsibilities
• Assists Cycle Count Program at the Service Center- setting schedule, overseeing counts, researching discrepancies, implementing countermeasures, and tracking accuracy metrics over time.
• Assists Operations team and Lead to develop action steps to minimize inventory discrepancies and make recommendations on programs to improve inventory management.
• Lead material quality assurance by implementing and controlling audit/reporting process.
• Audit inbound & outbound processes and create detailed reports of any deficiencies found in the shipments including defects and load quality compliance and applying corrections to discrepancies as required.
• Responsible for consolidation and location replenishment as required.
• Perform item audits for count accuracy and product quality.
• Ability to learn operations within the warehouse for all around knowledge and labor share opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skill Required
• High school education or equivalent
• 2 years inventory and quality experience in a warehouse/distribution center or similar operation
• Ability to provide direction, implement ideas, and adapt to changing business environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with team and cross functionally
• Experience with computer business systems, such as Excel, Outlook, ERP Systems
• Ability to use various forklifts and stock-handling equipment, certified on reach and counterbalance
