Our downtown Vancouver real estate client is currently seeking a permanent Senior Property Accountant to join the team.

**Competitive salary ranging from $85,000-$90,000 + Bonus**

The Role:
You will be responsible for the full-cycle accounting of a portfolio of properties and will work closely with property managers, asset managers, and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and strong operational support. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced real estate environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of properties, including monthly financial statements and variance analysis.
* Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for internal stakeholders.
* Coordinate annual operating budgets and forecasts with property management teams.
* Review and reconcile tenant billings including CAM, operating cost recoveries, and property tax allocations.
* Support year-end processes, including working with external auditors and preparing audit schedules.
* Monitor cash flow, review bank reconciliations, and oversee accounts payable and receivable activities.
* Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting efficiency, and internal controls.

The Successful Candidate:
* Designated CPA
* 5+ years of property accounting experience
* Strong knowledge of property management systems (Yardi or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
