Large, well-known organization based in Burnaby is looking to hire a temp Administrative Assistant. This will be a 1-month temporary position from June 1st to July 3rd (there may be a possibility of extension).
Location: Burnaby (transit accessible)
Pay rate: $29-31/hr
Primary duties will include:
• General administrative work including filing, data entry, processing incoming mail and invoices
• Provide administrative support to Manager and other members of the department
• Work on various projects
• Manage multiple inboxes and calendars in Outlook
• Handling incoming calls
• Formatting various documents
• Provide support for other divisions
• Meeting support - booking, preparing agenda and minute taking experience would be an asset
Requirements:
• Must have a minimum of 2 years’ professional administrative experience.
• Strong administrative and people skills
• Previous customer service experience
• Intermediate level MS Office skills including Word, Outlook and Excel
• Experience using MS Teams
• Ability to multi-task and take initiative
• Strong organizational ability
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
• Ability to schedule meetings in Outlook
• Keen attention to detail
• Experience in a fast-paced office environment
