• 3+ years of high volume AR/Collections experience
• Would prefer candidates from the Transportation Industry, however will consider other industries
• Intermediate Excel Skills – will be used for Data Charting
• Great communication Skills – will be doing follow up calls to customers, need to have clear comm
• Energetic, willing to learn, eager and committed



Position AR Specialist/Collections Clerk
Location: Etobicoke
Shift – 8AM-4:30PM Mon-Fri
Pay Rate $23-26/hr + Benefits & 2 weeks vacation

Summary of the job:
Cash Application:
Apply cash receipts from customers to their accounts in a timely manner, ensuring proper reconciliation of payments against outstanding invoices.
Customer Account Management:
Generate detailed customer account statements on a regular basis and distribute them to customers. Ensure statements are accurate and up to date.

Collections/Follow-up:
Monitor aging reports and follow up with customers regarding outstanding balances via email and phone. Resolve discrepancies, disputes, and short payments in a professional manner, and engage management where necessary.

Reporting:
Prepare and deliver regular accounts receivable reports to the CFO, highlighting aging summaries, delinquent accounts, cash application status, and problem accounts.

Customer Service:
Serve as a key point of contact for customer inquiries related to invoices, payment histories, and account statements.

Internal Collaboration:
Work closely with the customer service and billing teams to ensure accuracy of billing information, support customer account management, and resolve billing issues.
