Accountant / Staff Accountant / Intermediate Accountant – Full Cycle Accounting

$80,000 – $85,000 per year
Monday–Friday | 9AM–5PM | Fully In-Office

A well-established organization in downtown Toronto is hiring an Accountant / Full Cycle Accountant to support financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end processes. This role is ideal for someone with 3–5+ years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and experience working with ERP systems such as QuickBooks or NetSuite.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform full cycle accounting and maintain company financial records
• Prepare and post journal entries and general ledger transactions
• Complete month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and bank reconciliations
• Reconcile credit cards, accruals, prepaids, and fixed assets
• Assist with financial statements and accounting schedules
• Record bank deposits and maintain accurate accounting documentation
• Support ERP system improvements and integrations
• Assist with process improvements and financial reporting tasks

Qualifications
• 3–5+ years full cycle accounting experience
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting
• CPA or working toward CPA is an asset
• Strong knowledge of GAAP / ASPE
• Experience with ERP systems (QuickBooks preferred, NetSuite an asset)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
