We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive AR/AP Specialist to join a dynamic finance team. This role is heavily focused on Accounts Receivable with some Accounts Payable responsibilities. Role: AR/AP Specialist – Full-Tim Permanent
Location: Etobicoke, ON – Fully In-office
Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $55,000–$60,000 + Bonus
Benefits & Perks:

Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable (Primary):
Generate and issue invoices accurately and on time
Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
Resolve payment discrepancies and customer disputes
Apply incoming payments and maintain accurate records
Communicate with customers to ensure timely collections

Accounts Payable (Support):
Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payment
Reconcile statements and resolve vendor billing issues
Assist with month-end closing tasks related to payables

General Duties:
Maintain financial records per company policy
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure billing accuracy
Support audits and reporting as required
Assist in improving AR/AP processes and workflow

Qualifications:
2–3+ years of AR/AP experience, primarily in Accounts Receivable
QuickBooks experience required; familiarity with freight/transport software is a plus (training provided)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
