The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Applications Engineer to join a dynamic manufacturing team. This role offers the chance to work on customer-driven NPI projects, provide technical oversight, and lead cross-functional collaboration in a growing, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead technical communications and project coordination, including product evaluation, testing, and measurement.
Develop and recommend engineering solutions based on available products, technologies, materials, and DFM standards.
Select purchase parts and collaborate with suppliers.
Utilize engineering calculators, light FEA, and CFD tools (ANSYS) for design validation.
Coordinate with internal design teams to complete models and drawings using PTC Windchill and Creo View.
Ensure released prints and PFDs are manufacturable, feasible, and meet or exceed customer requirements.
Design and model complete exhaust systems in Creo Parametric, incorporating DFM and standard design guidelines.
Collaborate with internal teams (sales, manufacturing, quality, costing) and external customer engineers.
Support development of technical solutions focusing on acoustics, thermals, fluids/power, and durability.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives for existing products.
Support business processes from conception through production launch.
Travel as required.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
- 5+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering and related industries.
- 5+ years of experience with CAE & CAD software.
- Understanding of ASME Y14.5 – 2009, welding, and metal forming processes.
