Job Summary

We are hiring an Assembler for a full-time, contract opportunity in Burlington, ON. This day shift role is ideal for a hands-on production professional who enjoys detailed assembly work, working with small components, and contributing to a clean, organized manufacturing environment.

As an Assembler, you will support the production of connectors, harnesses, wiring assemblies, and related components while following work orders, product specifications, and safety procedures. Key Responsibilities

- Perform general production assembly, including connectors, harnesses, wiring assemblies, and related components.
- Read and follow work orders, instructions, and specifications to assemble components by hand or using small hand-operated equipment.
- Test, calibrate, fit, and inspect parts and mechanisms to ensure they meet tolerances and product specifications.
- Identify units that do not meet testing or tolerance requirements and complete repairs or adjustments as needed.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area while following all health and safety procedures.
- Complete other production and assembly duties as assigned.

Additional Skills

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Assemble connectors, harnesses, wiring assemblies, and other production components.
- Read work orders and follow assembly instructions accurately.
- Test, inspect, calibrate, and fit parts to meet product specifications.
- Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards in a manufacturing environment.

- 1 to 2 years of assembly, production, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to perform repetitive work while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Comfortable using small hand-operated equipment and basic assembly tools.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a production team.
- Safety shoes are required.

Preferred Qualifications

- 2 or more years of experience working as an assembler.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility.
- Experience with wiring assembly, harness assembly, connectors, testing, or calibration tasks.
