Job Summary
We are hiring a Certified Reach/Counterbalance Operator for a temp-to-hire warehouse order picking opportunity in Brampton. This role is ideal for an experienced forklift operator who is confident operating reach and counterbalance equipment in a fast-paced warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or production environment.

The afternoon shift also includes paid training on days for the first 2 weeks.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for delivery or pick-up while meeting accuracy and shipment quality standards.
- Operate reach and counterbalance forklifts safely to move, load, unload, and organize materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load outbound delivery trucks, count and organize skids, and complete shipments within required deadlines.
- Receive inbound trailers, verify purchase orders, break down skids, and prepare inventory for put-away into racking locations.
- Support cycle counts, bin accuracy, location moves, inventory projects, and daily warehouse housekeeping.
- Communicate proactively with team leads, supervisors, and coworkers to support safe, efficient warehouse operations.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour.
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.
- Location: Brampton, ON
- Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Reach/Counterbalance Forklift.
- Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday, 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM, Reach Operator.
- Afternoon shift candidates will train on days, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, for the first 2 weeks.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Pick and stage warehouse orders accurately according to scheduled workplans.
- Operate reach and counterbalance forklifts safely in a warehouse environment.
- Load and unload trailers, organize skids, and support inbound and outbound shipping.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, bin checks, and location moves.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, production, or related environment.
- Valid certification and demonstrated ability to operate reach and counterbalance forklift equipment.
- Experience using RF scanners or similar scanning technology.
- Ability to enter data accurately within an ERP system.
- Familiarity with standard warehouse practices, safety procedures, and inventory control processes.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, communication skills, and ability to work well with team leads and coworkers.
- Ability to maintain daily housekeeping standards and follow all company safety rules and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience supporting process improvement or warehouse optimization initiatives.
- Previous experience in a construction products, plumbing products, manufacturing, or industrial distribution environment.
