A well-established organization in Brampton is currently seeking Collections Specialists to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for contacting customers to collect outstanding balances while also providing excellent customer service to resolve billing inquiries and disputes.

This position is ideal for someone who is polite, results-driven, and highly organized, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. You will act as a customer advocate while ensuring timely payment collection and accurate resolution of account issues.

Key Responsibilities
Contact customers regarding outstanding balances and arrange payment solutions
Provide professional and courteous service when discussing account details
Investigate and respond to billing inquiries and disputes
Escalate valid disputes to the appropriate internal teams for resolution
Maintain accurate documentation of all collection activities and customer interactions
Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve account issues quickly
Monitor accounts and follow up on outstanding payments
Deliver a high level of customer care while meeting collection targets
Qualifications
Previous experience in collections, accounts receivable, customer service, or call center environments preferred
Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Ability to remain professional and empathetic when discussing payment matters
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable using computer systems and customer account platforms
Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment
