Job Summary

We are seeking a Construction/Installer Helper for a direct hire opportunity in Huntsville, ON. This is a permanent day-shift role supporting installation work on residential and commercial client sites. The position is well suited to someone with hands-on construction experience, strong attention to detail, and an interest in building a long-term career in the skilled trades.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with product installations at client sites and job locations.
- Accurately complete measurements to support proper installation and service work.
- Help diagnose service requests and support troubleshooting on site.
- Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials daily at the shop and job sites.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area before, during, and after each job.
- Support the team with additional construction, installation, and site duties as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits

- $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Direct hire, permanent position.
- Monday to Friday schedule, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Assist with residential and commercial product installations at client sites.
- Complete accurate measurements for installation work.
- Support service diagnosis, job site setup, cleanup, and material handling.
- Load, unload, and organize tools and equipment for daily work.

- Minimum 3 years of construction experience.
- Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
- Comfortable with heavy lifting and physically active work.
- Safety boots required.
- Reliable transportation required, as the site is not transit accessible.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively with others.
- Good customer service skills when working at client locations.
- Willingness to travel occasionally with the team to non-local job sites.
- Interest in long-term growth with potential to take on future team lead responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous installation, renovation, carpentry, or general construction labour experience.
- Experience working on residential or commercial job sites.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new installation techniques.
