$21.00/hour + Overtime


About the Role

We are currently hiring a Customer Service & Data Entry Clerk for a well-established and growing distributor of premium pet food products servicing Eastern Canada.

This is a true temp-to-permanent opportunity—our previous candidate in this role was successfully hired on full-time!

If you’re passionate about customer service, detail-oriented work, and love being around animals, this could be a perfect fit.

Bonus: This is a pet-friendly office—you must be comfortable working around animals!

Schedule
Monday – Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (potential for extended hours during busy periods)
Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Overtime: Paid after 44 hours/week

Key Responsibilities
• Receive and process orders via email, phone, and fax
• Perform high-volume, accurate data entry
• Generate invoices and manage order documentation
• Communicate with customers regarding:
• Order confirmations
• Updates and out-of-stock items
• Returns and tracking inquiries
• Coordinate transportation/logistics for deliveries
• Collaborate with warehouse and finance teams
• Resolve customer issues while maintaining strong relationships
• General administrative duties including filing and record-keeping

Qualifications
• 1–2 years of customer service and/or data entry experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Intermediate computer skills, including:
• Microsoft Excel
• Word & Outlook
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Team player with the ability to work independently

Education
• High School Diploma (required)
• Post-secondary education (an asset)
