Job Summary

We are recruiting for a Digital Print Operator opportunity in a production-focused manufacturing environment in Markham. The Digital Print Operator will operate large format digital printing equipment, monitor print quality, complete production checks, and support daily production targets. Key Responsibilities

- Operate large format digital printing equipment and production machinery safely according to established work instructions.
- Run samples and adjust print quality, registration, colour settings, and mixing to meet order specifications.
- Perform pre-run inspections, in-process quality checks, and final job completion checks to ensure quantity and quality standards are met.
- Follow schedule boards, hour-by-hour boards, standard work instructions, and daily production requirements.
- Maintain accurate daily production records to support performance tracking and continuous improvement.
- Perform preventive maintenance on press equipment and handle materials, chemicals, and waste according to safety procedures.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $24 to $27 per hour.
- Job type: Direct Hire.
- Schedule: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Operate large format digital printing equipment in a production environment.
- Perform print quality adjustments, colour checks, registration checks, and production inspections.
- Follow schedule boards, standard work instructions, and daily production requirements.
- Maintain production records and support continuous improvement through accurate, quality-focused work.

- Minimum 1 year of experience in large format digital printing.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic computer skills, including email, Microsoft Office, and data entry.
- Experience with graphics software.
- Experience with lean manufacturing practices.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a ruler accurately within 1/64 inch.
- Mechanical aptitude, including comfort using hand tools and pneumatic tools.
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs, stand for approximately 80% of the shift, and push or pull up to 22 lbs.
- Ability to read and follow written directions, standard work instructions, and established procedures.
- Strong attention to detail, quality consciousness, and ability to maintain production standards for both quantity and quality.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, desire to learn, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Technical and analytical mindset with the ability to resolve routine production issues and escalate complex concerns when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing, print production, or graphics production environment.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance routines for print or production equipment.
- Experience working with schedule boards, hour-by-hour boards, or other visual production management tools.
