We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator (5–7 years experience) to join our growing construction team. The successful candidate will prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial, industrial, and institutional electrical projects. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with project and engineering teams throughout the bidding process.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed electrical cost estimates for construction projects
Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to complete quantity take-offs
Perform labour, material, and equipment costing for bids
Obtain and analyze pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
Identify risks, scope gaps, and opportunities during estimating
Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings as required
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams
Maintain historical cost data and estimating benchmarks
Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives
Ensure all estimates are accurate and submitted within deadlines

Qualifications:
5–7 years of experience in electrical estimating or electrical construction
Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
Strong knowledge of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, controls, and low voltage systems
Experience with Accubid estimating software
Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu for take-offs and drawing review
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
Strong understanding of construction methods, labour productivity, and material pricing

Compensation:
Salary range: $85,000 – $100,000 per year (based on experience)
