Experienced Embroidery Operator (Tajima Or Similar Machines)
Hours: 4:30PM-1:00am($20/hr)
Location: North York

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating Tajima or similar embroidery machines.
• Proven expertise in hooping garments and hats of various styles and materials is a must.
• Understanding of embroidery techniques, thread types, and fabric properties.
• Troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve machine and embroidery issues.
• Ability to follow detailed work orders.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (e.g., boxes of garments, machine parts).

Responsibilities:

• Operate Machines: Set up and run our embroidery machines to create designs, primarily laser-cut letters and numbers. You'll be responsible for making sure the stitches (zig-zag or satin) are clean and precise.
• Prepare Products: Get garments and hats ready for the embroidery process. While some experience with hooping is a plus, it's not required—we'll teach you what you need to know.
• Check for Quality: Inspect your work to ensure every piece meets our quality standards. This includes checking for correct placement, color, and stitch quality.
• Maintain Equipment: Perform basic daily maintenance and help troubleshoot any simple machine issues that may come up.
• Work with the Team: Communicate effectively with your supervisor and teammates to stay on schedule and ensure a smooth production flow.
• Operate and provide general maintenance to Tajima multi-head embroidery machines, ensuring efficient and accurate production.
• Set up machines according to job specifications, including thread selection, needle changes, and frame adjustments provided by the supervisor
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
• Hooping and Garment Preparation:
• Expertly hoop garments and hats, ensuring proper tension and placement for accurate embroidery.
• Select appropriate backing and stabilizers for various fabric types.
• Prepare garments for embroidery, including folding, pinning, and marking.
• Quality Assurance:
• Perform quality checks on finished embroidered products, ensuring precision placement, color accuracy, and overall consistency.
• Identify and correct any defects or inconsistencies in embroidery.
• Adhere to company quality standards and procedures.
