We are currently hiring for a facility cleaner in the East York area

Position Title Facilities Cleaner
Location East York, ON
Hours First Day: 8AM-4:30PM, 2 weeks training on 10AM – 6:30PM shift
Regular hours after training: 3PM-11:30PM
Pay Rate $20.69/hr

Keys to filling:
- 3 months min experience with Cleaning – preferably Manufacturing environment or Warehouse environment – however, would consider someone that has commercial cleaning experience
- Must be comfortable with eventually getting Forklift certified in the future – they do not need experience with this
-Must be comfortable with cleaning Manufacturing floor, as well as office and bathrooms – general housekeeping: Sweeping, Mopping, taking out the trash, removing cardboard, breaking down skids
- No heavy lifting, max weight would be 40lbs from time to time but very minimal
- Must be able to pass a crim check



MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To report to the Production Supervisor - Machine Division and communicate all matters or concerns pertaining to housekeeping and facility conditions
• Monitor cells and remove all waste including Cardboard and recyclables. Breakdown wood crates and dispose as required
• Remove all waste, recycle, Cardboard and wood and dispose in assigned locations
• Clean all main floors using appropriate cleaning equipment, Floor sweep machine. Ensure all required washroom supplies are monitored and maintained.
• Clean all main and production offices and washrooms, wash floors remove wasted and general cleanup.
• Clean and remove all snow from all employee and Main entrances and apply salt to ensure safety.
• To maintain housekeeping throughout the facility
