This Field Service Technician Position Features:

• Great Pay from $65K to $70K

We are seeking a Skilled Service Technician to diagnose, repair, maintain, and install hydraulic and electrical waste-management equipment including compactors, balers, augers, and related systems. Work is a mix of in-shop and field service, with most days starting at our shop. A company vehicle is provided, and technicians may drive it home. Direct dispatch to customer sites is occasionally required.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair hydraulic and electrical control systems on compactors, balers, augers, and similar waste equipment at customer sites.
Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe, optimal equipment operation.
Install and remove complete waste compactor systems.
Maintain the condition, cleanliness, and readiness of all company assets, including service vehicle, tools, and onboard inventory.
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Deliver high-quality work with a focus on “first-time fix” standards.

Technical Skills & Job Requirements:
Strong understanding of industrial hydraulics, electrical systems, and PLC-controlled equipment.
Ability to learn and receive training on proprietary waste equipment.
Knowledge of diagnosing and working with up to 600V 3-phase systems and control panels.
Skilled in troubleshooting/repairing hydraulic pumps, switches, valves, pressure settings, and cylinders.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and hydraulic schematics.
Familiarity with rigging and lifting practices.
