A leading industrial service organization is seeking a Service Dispatcher / Customer Service Coordinator to join its growing Service Department in Brampton. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coordinating service activities, and is passionate about delivering excellent customer support.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing service requests, coordinating technicians, and ensuring timely communication with customers throughout the service process.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, screen, and enter customer service requests into the service management system
Schedule and coordinate service calls with technicians and service teams
Communicate regularly with the Service Resource Center regarding incoming and ongoing service calls
Take ownership of service requests from creation through completion, escalating issues when necessary
Reassign work as required based on technician availability and workload priorities
Provide customers with updates regarding service status and scheduling changes
Professionally manage customer concerns and escalate issues when required
Prepare and process service call invoices daily
Ensure completed service calls are invoiced within 48 hours
Maintain accurate records and protect customer and company confidentiality
Support inventory coordination by sourcing, ordering, and tracking required parts and supplies
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
3+ years of experience in customer service, dispatching, or service coordination
Strong computer skills with Windows-based applications (experience with Oracle or similar systems is an asset)
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong customer service focus
Positive attitude and a strong desire to succeed
