Job Summary
We are hiring a Forklift Operator for a direct hire opportunity in Markham near 14th Avenue and Warden Avenue. This role is ideal for a reliable warehouse professional with 1 to 2 years of forklift experience who is comfortable operating counterbalance and reach forklifts in a shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment environment.
The Forklift Operator will support daily warehouse operations by moving product safely, assisting with shipping and receiving, picking orders, packing and labelling items, and preparing pallets for shipment. This is a steady daytime opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values safety, and thrives in a team-focused warehouse setting with clear daily responsibilities and consistent hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate counterbalance and reach forklifts safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including product movement, staging, and verification.
- Pick customer orders accurately and prepare items for packing and shipment.
- Pack, label, build, and wrap pallets according to warehouse and shipping requirements.
- Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs while maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Support general warehouse duties as needed to help meet daily operational goals.
