General Labour
- Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Location: Holland Landing, ON.
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer for an opportunity in Holland Landing, ON.
The General Labourer will support daily material handling activities, including sorting, counting, organizing, loading, and moving beams and other materials. This position is well suited for candidates with experience in general labour, manufacturing, fabrication, construction, warehousing, or remanufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, count, organize, and record beams and other materials according to specifications.
- Load, unload, move, and position heavy materials safely and efficiently.
- Inspect materials for damage, defects, or inconsistencies and report issues as needed.
- Perform repetitive physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all health and safety procedures.
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production and operational targets.

- Sort, count, handle, and organize beams and other materials.
- Load, unload, move, and position heavy materials throughout the shift.
- Inspect materials and maintain organized work areas.
- Support daily production and operational targets in an outdoor work environment.
- 1 to 2 years of general labour, manufacturing, fabrication, construction, remanufacturing, warehousing, or related experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy physical labour safely and efficiently throughout the full shift.
- Comfortable working outdoors in hot, cold, rainy, and snowy weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail when sorting, counting, and recording materials.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced physical environment.
- CSA-approved safety footwear and appropriate outdoor work clothing are required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience using basic hand tools or equipment in a production, construction, or material handling environment.
- Experience working in outdoor labour, yard operations, fabrication, or remanufacturing settings.
- A strong safety mindset and proven ability to maintain clean and organized work areas.
