General Labour / Production Worker / Cable Cutter

We are currently hiring General Labour / Cable Cutting Associates for a growing manufacturing and distribution facility in Brampton. This is a hands-on position working with cable cutting machines, reels, spools, and warehouse equipment in a fast-paced environment.

This role is ideal for candidates with manufacturing, warehouse, machine operation, cable cutting, or general labour experience who are comfortable with manual labour and using basic hand tools.

Job Duties
• Operate cable cutting machines
• Cut cable from large manufacturer reels onto smaller reels/spools
• Measure and prepare customer orders accurately
• Identify correct wire types and quantities
• Push, pull, and move cable reels throughout the facility
• Use RF scanners and warehouse systems
• Perform general labour and material handling duties
• Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, saws, hammers, and cutting tools
• Maintain a safe and clean work area

Qualifications
• Previous general labour, warehouse, manufacturing, or machine operator experience required
• Comfortable with heavy manual labour
• Basic math skills required (feet to meter conversions)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to lift, push, and pull heavy cable reels
• Experience with hand tools required
