Job Summary
We are hiring a reliable General Labour/Order Picker for a temp-to-hire opportunity in a busy automotive parts warehouse and distribution environment in the Bolton area. The successful candidate will support daily warehouse operations by picking, packing, moving, wrapping, and organizing product throughout a large distribution facility. Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, build skids, and prepare parts for branch replenishment throughout a large warehouse facility.
- Receive, move, mark, wrap, and stage pallets using accurate store and inventory information.
- Use a handheld RF scanner and basic warehouse equipment, including a manual pallet jack and mouse cart as required.
- Maintain accurate paperwork and support inventory quantity verification and inventory level maintenance.
- Follow all safety procedures, report all injuries or incidents immediately, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Perform housekeeping duties including sweeping, dusting, garbage disposal, spill cleanup, and general warehouse organization.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $19.50 per hour.
- Shift: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or 2:30pm-10pm
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Required overtime may be requested, up to 44 hours, including weekends and holidays with little notice.
- Candidates must be able to work the full scheduled shift, with strong attendance and reliability.
- Location: Bolton
- Candidates must drive, as the location is not bus accessible.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Pick, pack, and build skids for warehouse replenishment orders.
- Receive, move, label, wrap, and stage materials throughout the warehouse.
- Use RF scanning equipment to support accurate order fulfillment and inventory control.
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized warehouse work areas.
- 1 to 2 years of previous warehouse experience required.
- No forklift experience required.
- Must be comfortable lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform frequent bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
- Ability to use basic math accurately, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Good communication skills and ability to communicate in English with coworkers and management.
- Must be reliable, punctual, safety-focused, and eager to be part of a long-term team.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must wear safety shoes and follow all warehouse dress code and cell phone policies.
- Must be comfortable working in an active warehouse environment with possible exposure to moving mechanical parts, powered equipment areas, ladders, and high noise levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous order picking, RF scanner, warehouse distribution, or automotive parts warehouse experience.
- Experience using a manual pallet jack.
- Strong attendance record and interest in a permanent long-term opportunity.
