Our client in Rocky View County is a global leader in engineering, repair, and logistics services for the communications industry, and they are actively seeking a new Human Resources Generalist to join their team!

This position features:

Pay rate- $25 an hour

Hours: 8:30am to 5pm
Please note this is a 1-year contract with potential for hire on.

Responsibilities:
• Support all stages of the employee lifecycle (onboarding through offboarding)
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, including the Employment Standards Act (ESA)
• Coordinate onboarding and training processes
• Prepare and process Records of Employment (ROEs)
• Manage HR filing and documentation
• Assist with Short-Term Disability (STD) applications
• Complete and submit reports to benefits providers
• Provide administrative HR support
• Assist with light recruitment activities as needed

Requirements:
• 2-3 years experience as a generalist role in a high volume, fast-paced environment and an HR Generalist
• Strong understanding of employment legislation (ESA)
• Experience handling ROEs, STD claims, and benefits reporting
• Comfortable working with manual HR processes
• Self-sufficient, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced setting
• Experience with HRIS systems
• Must have experience with client facing (talking to employee face to face, warehouse walk throughs, visit other offices/ departments, etc)
