A well-established utility and infrastructure services company is seeking an experienced Hydrovac Mechanic to join their maintenance team. This role offers steady daytime hours, competitive pay, and long-term stability working on specialized hydrovac and heavy-duty equipment used in utility and construction operations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on hydrovac trucks and related equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and vacuum system issues
Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and uptime
Repair and maintain pumps, blowers, hoses, valves, and related components
Inspect equipment to identify wear, damage, or required repairs
Maintain accurate service records and documentation
Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards
Collaborate with operations and field teams to minimize equipment downtime
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience as a mechanic working with heavy-duty trucks, hydrovac units, or similar equipment
Valid 310T or equivalent mechanical license required
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and vacuum systems
Ability to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues
Experience with preventative maintenance programs
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
