Job Summary

We are hiring a full-time Installer Assistant for a direct hire opportunity in Huntsville, ON. This hands-on construction and installation role is ideal for someone with residential, commercial, landscaping, or general construction experience who enjoys physical work, being part of a crew, and working in different outdoor job site environments.

The Installer Assistant will report to the shop each morning for a 7:00 a.m. start, then travel with the crew in a company vehicle to job sites. The ideal candidate is physically fit, professional in customer homes, safety-minded, and comfortable working outdoors year-round.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with residential and commercial installation projects at customer locations.
- Lift, move, carry, and position heavy products and materials on a daily basis.
- Use hand tools safely and effectively to support installation work.
- Work closely with crew members to complete jobs efficiently, safely, and professionally.
- Maintain a presentable, customer-focused approach while working in clients' homes and properties.
- Travel with the crew to out-of-town job sites when required, including occasional overnight stays.

Compensation and Benefits

- Direct hire, permanent full-time opportunity.
- Starting pay of $20.00 to $23.00 per hour.
- Monday to Friday schedule.
- Daily start time is 7:00 a.m. at the shop.
- Most workdays run until approximately 5:00 p.m.
- Average schedule is approximately 50 hours per week.
- Company vehicle is used for crew travel from the shop to job sites.
- Occasional out-of-town and overnight travel may be required.
