Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Analyst Global Sourcing (Supply Chain) to support supply chain operations in a fast-paced retail environment. This role is ideal for an analytical professional with hands-on experience in inventory management, purchase order tracking, and supplier coordination.
In this position, you will support the Global Sourcing team by helping ensure purchase orders are processed accurately, inventory levels are monitored closely, and deliveries move efficiently through the supply chain. You will work closely with suppliers, distributors, and Distribution Centers to help reduce delays, prevent stock shortages, and maintain strong operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end purchase order lifecycle, including creation, tracking, follow-up, and issue resolution.
- Monitor inventory levels, identify supply risks, and help minimize shortages, delays, and overstock situations.
- Coordinate daily with domestic and offshore suppliers to support timely order fulfillment and delivery execution.
- Act as a key liaison between Global Sourcing, distributors, and Distribution Centers to ensure clear communication and smooth workflows.
- Maintain accurate records and support data integrity across systems, trackers, and reporting tools.
- Provide proactive updates, escalate risks, and help resolve supply chain disruptions in a timely manner.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $25 per hour.
- Assignment type: Temporary assignment for approximately one year.
- Work arrangement: Hybrid schedule with 4 days in office and 1 day working from home.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Manage purchase order workflows from creation through delivery follow-up.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify risks related to shortages, delays, or excess stock.
- Coordinate with suppliers, distributors, and Distribution Centers to support fulfillment timelines.
- Track data, maintain accurate records, and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, inventory management, or a related function.
- Hands-on experience with inventory management, including replenishment, stock monitoring, and risk mitigation.
- Experience managing and tracking purchase orders in a high-volume environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, data analysis, and tracking.
- Strong attention to detail, ownership, accountability, and follow-through.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with real-time problem solving.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with global sourcing or international supplier coordination.
- Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Experience working with Distribution Centers, logistics operations, or fulfillment partners.
- Ability to improve processes, create efficiencies, or enhance reporting accuracy.
- Experience with Python and/or Power BI for reporting, data analysis, or automation.
- Demonstrated initiative and willingness to take on responsibilities beyond the core role.
