We are seeking a Licensed Industrial Electrician (442A) to join a busy manufacturing facility in Stoney Creek, Ontario. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment and automation systems to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
Candidates with a 309A Electrician license and 4–5+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment will also be considered.

Compensation & Benefits
$37 – $41/hour depending on experience
Up to $43/hour for highly experienced candidates
3 weeks vacation
Benefits starting Day 1
DPSP (Deferred Profit Sharing Plan) after 4 months
Apprentices may also be considered:
3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice
$25 – $35/hour
2 weeks vacation
Schedule
Rotating shifts (2 weeks per shift):
Days: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Afternoons: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Nights: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Candidates must be comfortable working rotating shifts and occasional extended hours when required.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental policies and regulatory requirements
Perform daily electrical checks and diagnostics including continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
Repair, install, and test electrical equipment such as transformers, regulators, motors, generators, and control systems
Design and install control panels and power distribution circuits
Interpret and ensure compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code
Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance
Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform downtime repairs
Program, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial automation systems including PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, documentation, and safety records
Plan, design, install, and test new branch control circuits and maintain existing systems
Support production by responding to maintenance issues and ensuring equipment reliability
Qualifications
442A Industrial Electrician License
309A Electricians with strong industrial experience may be considered
Minimum 5 years experience in industrial maintenance preferred
Strong experience troubleshooting industrial equipment, robotics, and PLC-controlled machinery
Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics
Experience with:
Transformers
Switchgear
Conveyors
Pumps
VFDs
Fire alarm panels
HVAC systems
Lighting panels
Instrumentation calibration
Relay logic troubleshooting
Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and automation
High School Diploma or equivalent
