Role: Freight Broker/Logistics Coordinator
Location: Etobicoke, ON (Fully On-Site)
Salary: Dependent on experience + potential bonus based on profitability
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Requirements:
MUST HAVE 5+ years of experience as a Logistics Coordinator in a 3PL/Brokerage environment (non-asset-based)
3+ years of Freight Brokerage experience
Strong LTL skills, including shipment coding, carrier relationships, and quoting/negotiating rates
Experience with TruckMate software (preferred)
Proficiency in LoadLink and familiarity with TMS systems and load boards
Knowledge of freight classes, NMFCs, and common carrier tariffs (an asset)
Strong computer skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Overview:
A well-established 3PL brokerage is seeking an experienced Freight Broker/Logistics Coordinator to join its growing team. The role involves handling LTL and FTL shipments for Canadian and U.S. customers, negotiating rates, and managing carrier relationships. Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in a 3PL brokerage (non-asset-based) and strong LTL expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
Broker freight for Canadian and U.S. customers (LTL & FTL)
Build and maintain relationships with carriers, negotiate rates, and manage dispatching
Oversee local and long-haul dispatching, including rail, flatbed, and reefer trucks
Manage inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring compliance with regulations
Stay updated with customs regulations and coordinate cross-border shipments
Analyze load information to optimize routes, rates, and schedules
Maintain communication with customers throughout shipments
Conduct audits to ensure operational compliance
