Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Steel MIG Welders / Welder-Fitters for a direct hire opportunity in Holland Landing, ON. Key Responsibilities

- Perform MIG welding on steel components according to specifications, blueprints, and work orders.
- Read and interpret welding drawings, fabrication documents, and technical instructions.
- Fit, assemble, align, and tack weld components as required.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to standards.
- Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area while supporting production schedules.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay Rate: $25.00 to $29.00 per hour, based on experience.
- Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Location: Holland Landing, ON.

Additional Skills

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Perform steel MIG welding on fabricated components.
- Read and work from blueprints, welding drawings, and fabrication documents.
- Fit, assemble, and tack weld steel components.
- Complete quality checks on welds and finished work.

- Previous experience in steel MIG welding is required.
- 1+ years of relevant welding experience is required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience using welding and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must have high-ankle steel-toe safety boots.
- Must have a personal welding helmet.
- Must be able to complete an onsite interview, practical welding test, and technical assessment.

Preferred Qualifications

- CWB welding certification is preferred.
- Experience as a Welder-Fitter is considered a strong asset.
