Machine Operator – GMP / Cannabis Production

Shift: Day shift
Pay: $20.00 an hour

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator with experience in GMP-regulated environments, ideally within cannabis, pharmaceutical, or food production. This role is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment while ensuring strict adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor automated and semi-automated production equipment
Set up machines, perform changeovers, and adjust settings to meet production requirements
Follow GMP, SOPs, and sanitation procedures at all times
Conduct routine quality checks to ensure product meets specifications
Complete batch records, production logs, and documentation accurately
Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate when required
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with compliance standards
Work collaboratively with quality, maintenance, and production teams

Qualifications:

1–3+ years of machine operating experience in GMP, cannabis, pharmaceutical, or food manufacturing
Strong understanding of GMP and quality standards
Experience with packaging, filling, labeling, or processing equipment is an asset
Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment
Comfortable working in a regulated, fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills for documentation and tracking
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Assets:

Experience in cannabis production or extraction environments
Familiarity with batch processing and controlled documentation systems
