Job Overview:
This position oversees and leads the day-to-day delivery, execution, and management of companies total rewards programs and initiatives. The position provides supervisory leadership across compensation and benefits operations, ensuring existing programs are executed consistently, efficiently, and in alignment with established enterprise direction.

This position partners with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders to support workforce efficiency, enable cost discipline, address operational issues, and maintain total rewards service levels. The position focuses on team leadership, workflow coordination, risk mitigation, and operational excellence, while enabling stability and effectiveness for the total rewards team.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide operational leadership for the day-to-day execution and maintenance of total rewards programs, including base compensation, incentive plans, and benefits offerings, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and workforce needs.
Manage cross-departmental initiatives that impact multiple business units, coordinating stakeholders to ensure consistent application of total rewards frameworks and policies.
Oversee compensation structures, job architecture, market pricing, and annual compensation planning cycles, ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness.
Partner with Finance and HR leaders to assess cost impacts, workforce trends, and trade-offs between strategic objectives and operational requirements.
Drive analysis of market data, employee insights, and program outcomes to identify risks, opportunities, and improvements to total rewards programs.
Develop and implement communication strategies that clearly articulate the value of total rewards programs to leaders and employees.
Ensure programs and practices are compliant with applicable legal, regulatory, and governance requirements related to compensation and benefits programs.
Provide supervisor leadership to a team of total rewards professionals, including work planning, task prioritization, coaching, and issue resolution, to maintain performance and service standards.
Manage day-to-day relationships with external vendors and consultants, ensuring service quality, value, and alignment with organizational priorities.

Education, Credentials, Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Actuarial Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
Professional certifications such as CCP, CPHR, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent are strongly preferred.
Typically 7–8 years of progressive experience in total rewards, compensation, and/or benefits, with demonstrated experience leading teams or large-scale initiatives.
Broad and deep expertise in total rewards principles, including compensation structures, benefits design, market benchmarking, and workforce analytics.
Proven ability to operate independently, make complex decisions, and lead cross-functional collaboration while influencing senior leaders.
