Job Summary
We are recruiting for a Direct Hire Millwright, Industrial Mechanic 433A, opportunity in a unionized automotive JIT manufacturing environment in the Windsor, ON area. This role is ideal for a licensed Millwright who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and keeping high-volume production equipment running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and adjustments on production and facility equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and related equipment issues in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Support preventative maintenance activities to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Read and interpret technical documentation, drawings, manuals, and equipment specifications.
- Use testing tools and hands-on diagnostic methods to identify root causes and complete repairs safely.
- Work closely with production, maintenance, and leadership teams to support safe and efficient operations.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $45.23 per hour.
- Direct hire opportunity.

- Rotating shifts: days and afternoons, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment in an automotive JIT manufacturing environment.
- Perform preventative maintenance to support uptime, safety, and equipment performance.
- Diagnose issues involving mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to complete repairs and support daily operations.
- Valid 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright license is required.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant industrial maintenance or millwright experience is preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience with mechanical systems, electrical components, and pneumatic systems.
- Solid troubleshooting ability and practical repair experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Ability to read technical documentation and use appropriate testing tools.
- Strong communication, organization, teamwork, and safety-focused work habits.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in automotive manufacturing or JIT production environments.
- Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with high-volume production equipment and fast-paced maintenance support.
