We are currently hiring for a Operation Team Lead in the Mississauga area

Full-time - Permanent

Role: Operations Team Lead
Salary: $44,500 - $48,500
Hours: 5:00am – 1:00pm

Benefits after 90-day probation:

Requirements:
• 2 years of Warehouse Team Lead experience
• Logistics environment experience would be an asset
• Must have excellent computer skills (Office365) and strong English communication (verbal & written) skills
• Must be punctual, reliable, self-directed, and a quick-learner
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be organized, detail-orientated, adaptable, and have a strong sense of urgency
• Able to work independently or collaboratively, be proactive, have a problem-solving approach, and be able to multi-task
• Excellent communication, time management, leadership, and analytical/investigative skills; strong technical acumen

• Responsibilities:
• Supervise the activities of all employees (in all operations areas) to achieve established targets
• The team lead(s) will provide support to the Operations Supervisor(s) and Manager
• Plan, schedule, prioritize and organize all work to meet deadlines and customer requirements
• Create shipping labels and shipping documents via various platforms
• Promote a Safe working environment ensuring H&S policies are adhered to
• Ensure effective cross-training of staff to cover absences and vacations
• Train, Monitor, Manage, and Motivate employees to continuously improve
• Lift/move mail bins/bags to and fro44,500m skids (Heavy lifting up to 20kgs maybe required)
• Build and wrap skids for shipping
• Load and offload truck using pump truck/forklift
