Customer Service Representative

Contract Term: 6-month contracts

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, flexible hours between 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
37.5 hours per week

Work Arrangement:

Hybrid model:
In-office: Monday & Tuesday
Work from home: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
Training: First 4 weeks fully in office, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

About the Role

This position supports a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and is ideal for individuals who thrive in high-volume settings. The client is seeking candidates with a strong customer service foundation and the confidence to manage inquiries, orders, and operational coordination.

Experience in Distribution, B2B, HVAC, Plumbing, Construction, or related industries is considered a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

Respond to customer inquiries related to pricing, deliveries, and technical matters via phone, email, and fax
Provide guidance on appropriate product applications
Process customer orders and follow up to ensure timely completion
Issue RGAs and initiate Item Master Set-Ups within the ERP system
Support Canadian and GTA representative agencies
Provide EDI support and manage open quotations
Act as a liaison between customers and the Operations team
Escalate customer concerns to the appropriate department for resolution
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records
Assist the Department Manager or Supervisor as required
Take on increasingly complex tasks as knowledge and experience grow
Develop broader product knowledge over time
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience

You bring:

Post-secondary education or equivalent practical experience
Minimum 2–3 years of customer-facing experience in a high-volume environment
Strong multitasking and time-management skills
Proficiency with MS Office and general computer systems (ERP/mainframe experience an asset)
A strong customer-first mindset with the ability to work effectively under pressure
