Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Order Picker/Packer for a temp-to-hire opportunity in the L4K 3A8 area. This role supports a consumer packaged goods manufacturing environment, picking and packing small pet accessory orders with accuracy, care, and attention to customer requirements.
This is a great opportunity for someone with 1 to 2 years of order picking experience who enjoys hands-on warehouse work, clear daily priorities, and being part of a productive team. The successful candidate will contribute to smooth warehouse operations by ensuring orders are prepared safely, accurately, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and pack small pet accessory orders accurately and in the priority sequence provided.
- Follow instructions related to pallet type, special labels, order requirements, and shipping details.
- Check product quality and quantities to ensure orders meet accuracy standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse work area.
- Support general warehouse duties as assigned by the team or supervisor.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $20.00 per hour.
- Salary range provided: $39,520 to $42,600 per year.
- Job type: Temp-to-Hire.
- Schedule:
- Monday to Wednesday: 8:00am to 5:30pm.
- Thursday: 8:00am to 4:30pm.
- Friday: 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Pick and pack customer orders safely, accurately, and according to priority.
- Verify product quality, order quantities, labels, and special packaging requirements.
- Support day-to-day warehouse operations and general shipping and receiving activities.
- 1 to 2 years of order picking experience required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a consumer packaged goods, light manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse environment.
- Experience picking and packing small items or accessory products.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality and accuracy standards.
