We are conducting a confidential search for two experienced Payroll Administrators to join a high-volume payroll team on a 6-month contract, with strong potential for permanent hire based on performance and business needs.

This opportunity offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, multi-provincial payroll environment supporting approximately 1,000 employees on a bi-weekly basis.

Must-Have Qualifications
2–3 years of full-cycle payroll experience
Experience processing payroll across multiple provinces
Experience processing bi-weekly payroll for 1,000+ employees
Ability to work in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
Strong adaptability and ability to work independently after training

Assets
Dayforce experience
Union payroll experience
Payroll processing experience in Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Quebec

Key Responsibilities
Process high-volume bi-weekly payroll for approximately 1,000 hourly and salaried employees
Administer multi-provincial payroll across Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Quebec
Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with applicable provincial legislation
Support unionized payroll processes (preferred for at least one hire)
Utilize Dayforce for payroll processing and reporting
Work closely with the Payroll Lead and team members to ensure smooth payroll cycles
Participate in structured onboarding, including shadowing through the first full pay cycle
