Responsibilities:
• Operate CNC machinery for production
• Operate lathe machines as required
• Ability to hold required tolerances through machine offsets
• Use knowledge of computer numerically controlled rough and finish turning, threading, taping, grooving, drilling and boring operations on CNC lathe
• Download programs and edit if necessary to adjust for tool number differences
• Set up parts using crane, indicating, and clamping the parts.
• Read and follow parts manufacturing drawings
• Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, bore gages, gage blocks, vernier)
• Report to the supervisor any damages or malfunction of the equipment and tools
• Past experience working with CNC Lathe and Milling machines measuring equipment
