Production Supervisor Salary- $75000-$85000/year Location: Vaughan Hours: 6:00am – 2:30PM/3:30PM Benefits from day 1 Company discounts 2-3 weeks’ vacation Up to 15% bonus based on company performance Pension plan – match up to 3% Work events and shoe reimbursements This position oversees and facilitates production operations for assigned area. This includes managing production teams and coordinating production schedules assigning responsibilities, preparing schedules, and coaching employees. This position also ensures optimum material and supply flow to ensure efficient production that is compliant with GMP and SQDC requirements. Functional Responsibilities • Overseeing approximately 30 employees in the sewing department • Reviews production schedules and estimate associate hours to complete a job assignment. Reviews and edits corresponding time and attendance management systems. Interprets daily production schedule for associates and delegate duties. • Holds daily cell meeting and set expectations for the day. • Facilitates the execution of the operational plan for the team to meet or exceed all quality and GMP requirements and guidelines. Participates in programs and committees. Initiates and/or suggests improvement to existing GMP guidelines. • Monitors key activities that drive KPI's (e.g., quality, safety, scrap) and identifies daily production challenges and find solutions to remove bottlenecks and work with associates to identify to take corrective measures to ensure goals are met to meet production schedules and prevent reoccurrence. • Assists in identifying best practices and developing corresponding standardized work for operational sustainment. Recommends measures and changes to improve production, equipment, product quality and working conditions. • Facilitates the acquisition, development, and performance of assigned direct reports as well as leadership succession planning within assigned organization. Develops associates to improve/expand skills and bench strength. • Serves as a link between associates and management and support associates through changes. Job Requirements • Associate’s degree in applicable field and /or equivalent experience; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred. • Knowledge of CBA • Experience using MRP/ERP • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint • Experience in Lean manufacturing principles, tools, and applications. • Applicable knowledge of performance management methods • Demonstrated ability to identify and develop talent. • Demonstrated ability to employ process problem solving tools to determine root cause and implement countermeasures. • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage conflict. • Demonstrated ability to execute against production playbooks. • Effective oral and written communication

- Lead daily production operations for the assigned manufacturing area.

- Drive KPI performance, quality standards, GMP compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Coach, develop, and support production employees while managing conflict and change effectively.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant production supervision or manufacturing leadership experience.
- Associate’s degree in an applicable field and/or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of collective bargaining agreement environments.
- Experience using MRP or ERP systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles, tools, and applications.
- Knowledge of performance management methods and employee development practices.
- Demonstrated ability to identify root causes, apply problem-solving tools, and implement effective countermeasures.
- Strong ability to manage conflict, communicate clearly, and execute against production plans.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Previous experience supervising a sewing, textile, apparel, or similar production environment.
- Experience developing standardized work and supporting leadership succession planning.
- Strong background in GMP, SQDC, quality systems, and continuous improvement programs.
