Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
Pay Rate: $23.00/hour
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Basement & Temporary Stair Builder to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates with construction, woodworking, or general assembly experience who are comfortable working with hand and power tools in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities:
• Manufacture wood components and assemblies
• Measure, cut, nail, and assemble materials
• Load and stack materials onto carts and skids
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely
• Operate drill press and other shop equipment
• Move materials using pump trucks and carts
• Assist machine operators as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs
Requirements:
• Previous experience in construction, woodworking, deck/fence building, cabinetry, or similar assembly work preferred
• Ability to read measurements and use a tape measure accurately
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Comfortable working in a woodworking/manufacturing environment
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
• CSA-approved steel-toed boots required
