Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Project Manager for a direct hire opportunity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This fully on-site role is ideal for a hands-on project management professional who enjoys coordinating cross-functional teams, staying close to production activity, and driving projects from initial planning through on-time delivery.

The Project Manager will play a key role in scheduling work across multiple departments, maintaining client communication, monitoring progress, and ensuring project timelines and profitability remain on track. Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and manage project schedules across woodshop, upholstery, sewing, shipping, assembly, foam, and pillows departments.
- Monitor project progress from scheduling through on-time shipping, ensuring deadlines, productivity targets, and client expectations are met.
- Maintain daily communication with external clients and internal teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Conduct regular floor rounds to assess production status, identify issues, and support workflow alignment across departments.
- Work closely with purchasing and design teams to issue work orders, coordinate approvals, and keep projects moving efficiently.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve accuracy, and support continuous improvement across project workflows.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary: $75,000 to $90,000 per year.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
- Job Type: Direct hire.
- Work Arrangement: Fully on-site.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage project timelines, schedules, approvals, and on-time delivery requirements across multiple production departments.
- Coordinate daily communication with clients, internal teams, purchasing, design, shipping, and production groups.
- Track project progress, set deadlines, monitor workflow, and ensure jobs move appropriately from schedule to shipment.
- Support process improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline scheduling, communication, and operational accuracy.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant project management, scheduling, planning, or coordination experience.
- Demonstrated experience in scheduling and planning is required.
- Post-secondary education from a recognized institution in a related field is required.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 programs, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple moving priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to follow up with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to think critically, ask questions, solve problems, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Personable, team-oriented, and comfortable working both in an office setting and on the production floor.
- Willingness to learn product details related to wood, foam, upholstery, seating, and related manufacturing processes.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in a manufacturing, production, furniture, seating, upholstery, or custom product environment.
- Previous experience coordinating cross-functional teams in a shop floor or warehouse setting.
- Background supporting product development, production testing, or client-driven custom projects.
- Demonstrated ability to bring forward process improvement ideas that support company growth and operational efficiency.
