Job Summary
We are hiring a Receiver for a direct hire opportunity in Markham, ON, near the Alden and Warden area. This role is ideal for a dependable warehouse, receiving, or distribution professional with 1 to 2 years of experience who enjoys hands-on work, accurate inventory handling, and being part of a busy logistics operation.
As a Receiver, you will help keep warehouse operations running smoothly by verifying incoming shipments, organizing stock, and ensuring products are received accurately and efficiently. This position offers steady weekday hours, a team-oriented environment, and the opportunity to contribute to an operation where reliability, communication, and attention to detail are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy, quantity, and condition.
- Log, sort, label, and store received products in designated warehouse locations.
- Support inventory counts, stock replenishment, and general warehouse organization.
- Assist across receiving, inventory, and warehouse support areas as operational needs change.
- Maintain accuracy and quality standards when handling incoming stock.
- Follow warehouse safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $18.00 per hour.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 5:00AM.
- Location: Markham, ON, near the Alden and Warden area.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Comfortable with physical warehouse work, including standing, moving, sorting, and handling products.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a steady weekday schedule.
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach.
- Commitment to following warehouse safety procedures and maintaining an organized work area.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using warehouse inventory systems, barcode scanners, or RF scanning equipment.
- Previous experience in a receiving-focused warehouse role.
- Pallet jack or material handling equipment experience is an asset.
- Ability to adapt and support multiple warehouse functions as needed.
