Our Client in Ottawa is looking for two Resident Managers/Superintendents to add to their Team!


Role: (1) Resident Manager - Ottawa, ON - and (2) Resident Manager - Cornwall, ON
Pay: $32,000 - $36,000/year – Rent, utilities and internet are free
Shift: 8:00am-4:00pm, some flexibility, will need to be available 24/7 for emergency calls

Requirements:
- 2–3 years of experience managing buildings or townhouse complexes
- Previous experience as Assistant Resident Manager, Resident Manager, Maintenance Manager or Superintendent is preferred
- Skilled in minor repairs (plumbing, sink leaks, aerators, flappers, and toilet repairs, etc.)
- Basic administrative skills, including email communication and customer service with tenants

Duties:
- Day to day housekeeping and maintenance of all building
- Attend to unit inquiries, investigate all requests for repairs in a timely manner
- Respond to all facility emergencies in a timely manner, walk, and check for hazards
- Cutting grass, snow removal (sidewalk only)
- Perform and complete all assigned duties and responsibilities with minimum supervision as per agreed schedules
- Prioritize and conduct minor repairs (plumbing, lighting, etc.)
- Administrative - Check the systems for work orders that come in
- For major repairs, will be reaching out to Skill Treads personnel
- Work in close cooperation with tenants, vendors, contractors and Manager, Capital Projects

Tenant Relationships:
- Maintain strong relationships with tenants to reflect superior customer service.
- Ensure prompt service to tenants and prospective tenants.
- Reasonably enforce the landlord’s rules and regulations.
