Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse/Forklift Operator for a contract opportunity in Windsor, ON. This role is ideal for a hands-on warehouse professional with strong counterbalance forklift experience, solid attention to detail, and the flexibility to support both equipment operation and manual warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently to move, load, unload, and put away product.
- Support shipping and receiving activities, including manual handling and forklift-assisted movement of goods.
- Pick orders, prepare products for shipment, and ensure orders are accurate and ready on time.
- Assist with inventory control, product put away, and general warehouse organization.
- Complete quality assurance checks to confirm product condition, accuracy, and proper handling.
- Perform manual warehouse duties as needed, including lifting, staging, sorting, and maintaining a clean work area.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour.
- Contract type: 2-month contract to start.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Location: Windsor, ON.
- Own transportation is required, as the location is not transit accessible.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Operate a counterbalance forklift for shipping, receiving, product put away, and warehouse movement.
- Support inventory, order picking, shipment preparation, and quality assurance activities.
- Perform manual warehouse duties in addition to forklift operation.
- Maintain safe, accurate, and organized warehouse workflows.
- Valid third-party forklift license for counterbalance operation is required.
- Minimum 2 years of counterbalance forklift operating experience is required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. safely and consistently.
- Good mathematical and computer skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexible and willing to support a variety of warehouse tasks as business needs require.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of inventory control, shipping, and receiving processes is an asset.
