Responsibilities

ssist the Warehouse Manager with daily warehouse operations and workflow

Manage and coordinate orders to ensure they are prepared and dispatched on time

Prepare and stage orders for customer pickup and next-day deliveries

Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments

Assist with inventory management, organization, and accuracy

Pull furniture and merchandise from the showroom and warehouse for customers

Assist customers with locating products and provide a professional, helpful experience

Safely handle, move, and lift heavy and oversized/awkward items on a daily basis

Operate Raymond Reach and Counterbalance forklifts as required

Complete computer-based tasks, including data entry and updating inventory/order information

Use Excel, Shopify, and other internal warehouse systems
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and showroom environment

Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

Support the Warehouse Manager with other duties as required


Qualifications & Requirements

2–3 years of warehouse experience

1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience
Previous experience operating Raymond Reach and Counterbalance forklifts is preferred
Forklift certification is an asset; in-house certification/training will be provided to candidates who meet the requirements

Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy and awkward items throughout the workday

Basic Excel skills, including data entry
Comfortable using computers and learning new software and internal systems

Experience with Shopify is an asset

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills
Comfortable working in a customer-facing environment

Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Able to work independently while also being a strong team player
